PORTABLE
HARDNESS TESTER

Both economical and portable, the Phase II PHT-2000 utilizes both an internal and external (optional) probes to comprise one of the most versatile portable hardness testers on the market today. Distinguished by its compact size high accuracy and wide measuring range, this portable hardness tester is ideally suited for testing all types of metals in varied environments.

The PHT-2000 portable hardness tester combines the universal impact device "D" and a data processor in a single unit. It automatically computes all Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell and Shore hardness values. RS-232 output enables this new model to print any of its memory from 2000 locations. The impact direction can be set so that precise, accurate values can be achieved at any angle. Statistical mean value is automatically provided.

The measuring method of the PHT-2000 portable hardness tester is defined as "the quotient of the impact body's rebound velocity over its impact velocity".

Optional accessories include external probes for various applications and support rings to meet the requirements of specialized convex and concave shapes.
